The New Diorama Theatre

New Diorama Theatre

The Home of Quicksilver

In late 2009, Quicksilver Theatre were delighted to announce the details of their new home: The New Diorama, a brand new purpose-built theatre building in central London.

The New Diorama Theatre, built by British Land, encompasses a generously sized 80 seat studio space, a street front café bar, office space and a garden area surrounded by a public fountain, public art and even some Anthony Gormley iron men in the vicinity!

The New Diorama functions as an Off-West End venue presenting work for a broad range of audiences, and there will be a strong dedication to theatre work for children and young people.

Quicksilver CEO and Co-Artistic Director, Guy Holland said “After thirty years of touring I am delighted that Quicksilver finally have a theatre of our very own. The generosity of British Land has exceeded all expectations: it is a truly modern theatre building, unique on this scale in London. Having our own performance space will enable us to continue with our high quality work for children, for which are famous."
